We perform surveillance cultures of the hospital every 6 months and continue to demonstrate no colonization in the environment of care.
Additionally, during the COVID pandemic, we had one of our nurse employees test positive for COVID after working in our Columbia hospital, and although she worked for several days before being tested, none of the staff or patients contracted the virus.
We strongly believe that this system has kept our patients safe during the pandemic and continues to protect our staff from contracting or spreading the virus.
